The pure-systems GmbH is a spin-off from the Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg and the Fraunhofer Instituts Rechnerarchitektur und Softwaretechnik. The company was setup in 2001.

The aim of pure-systems is the development and marketing of highly innovative software technologies focused on embedded systems. It comprises the development of software components and software development tools for embedded systems, training courses, consulting services and also complete development projects for customers.
