mobilSoft - subproject 4: Concepts for the integration of security critical functionalities in standard software

Team „Configurations of standard software“

It is the objective of the project to meet future requirements of software development in the automotive sector and to develop methods to ensure the future handling of large scale automotive software. The central method of solution is to supply processes and methods for a function-oriented model driven development of automotive software during the entire product life cycle.

Project objective

The goal of the „Configuration of Standard-Software“-team is to support the use and configuration of standard software in project environments with increasing complexity trough a well defined process. The use of an appropriate tool chain for this process ensures that it can be applied for verification.

Use of pure::variants in the project

The use of feature modelling for the handling of product lines is currently evaluated by the project partners. In this context, it is also possible to influence the configuration of standard software by appropriate feature models.
