Technical Sales Expert

Your Position

We are seeking to hire a skilled Senior Solution Architect who would like to build on her/his strong technical foundation and expand into a Quota-carrying Key Account Sales Management role.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our most important clients in Germany and Key European Markets.
Our ideal candidate is able to identify customer needs and passionate about exceeding client expectations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with Enterprise clients to accomplish and move organic growth to long-term business-value driven accelerated growth
  • Research key customer wants and needs
  • Suggest solutions that answer clients’ needs and wants
  • Continually Build own Opportunity Pipeline within Target Key Accounts and Markets
  • Identify new Opportunities within Accounts and Markets
  • Build Business Value Message and Vision with Client
  • Present at Customer Events / Workshops
  • Drive the sales process from discovery to closing
  • Develop Proposals, Solution Architecture and Implementation plans with clients
  • Take full responsibility for RFI / RFP Processes

Your Qualifications

  • Excellent communications skills
  • Team Player
  • Motivation, Attitude and willingness to learn new skills outside of own comfort zone (e.g. grow into quota-carrying key accounts role)
  • Strong technical background in Systems and Software Engineering, Requirements Engineering, ALM, PLM, PLE – with 5+ years proven experience
  • Customer-facing experience within your current role
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Engineering Degree or proven equivalent experience
  • Fluent in English and one other language (e.g. German, French)
  • At least 40% travel within Europe will be required
