Pure Variants 6.0.10: What's new?

Date: 2025-05-15 | Pure Variants 6.0.10 is a maintenance release.

The following new versions of PTC and 3rd party tools have been verified to work with Pure Variants 6.0.10:

  • Capella 7.0.1
  • Eclipse 2024-12
  • IBM ELM Jazz 7.0
  • IBM Rhapsody 10.0.1 (iFix002)

Statement regarding support for 6.x releases:

Our current main release version stream is Pure Variants 7.x. Our previous release stream 6.x is now in maintenance mode.
Fixes for relevant issues in the 6.x stream will be released up to 18 months, starting from the release of  Pure Variants 7.0.

Date : 2024-04-08 | pure::variants 6.0.5 is a service release, which brings a number of notable feature additions and improvements, as well as important bug fixes.

  • Usability enhancements in Web Client - improved filter functionality, and clearer handling of filters in the matrix editor 
  • Base Client fixes and improvements - large integers supported within attribute value ranges, desktop client UI performance enhanced, revision switching and variant collection fixes 
  • Syntax and semantics fixes in IBM Doors Next - syntax check failure fixed, hyperlinks corrected, and awareness of partial text substitution settings 
  • Other notable fixes - IBM DOORS 9.x transformation modularized, more flexible handling of read-only units in IBM Rhapsody, and improved documentation of IBM ETM connector

  • Codebeamer: Discover how to add both Restrictions and Calculations in Codebeamer using Drag-n-Drop. It is a the simple process of adding a calculation with inline editing.
  • Siemens Polarion: In Polarion, learn how to add restrictions using Drag-n-Drop. Seamlessly integrate feature elements into requirements.
